Heliconia "Guyana" is one of the most beautiful heliconias. Bracts are wide and stout with rich red keels with orange edges, literally stuffed with flowers. Sepals light yellow proximally then darkening to butter yellow distally with emerald green bands at tips. Bracts smartly arranged spirally around reddish orange peduncle (stem). Medium size plant reaching 5 to 6 feet tall. Vigorous grower. Medium sun to medium shade.
